About

I am Richard Borcherds, a mathematician, currently trying to figure out what quantum field theory is.

At the moment this blog is experimental, and I have not yet decided what it is for.

This would be a good place to leave comments for me that are not related to any of the articles (I moved the discussion that was here to “experimental mathematics”).

Hello Richard. I am sure this will be one of the strangest requests you get – but i will try to nutshell this. I am a graphic designer who works with charities. A client of mine is Mathematical Sciences of Paris Foundation. I am working on a project for them – and i am trying to express a thought as an equation… can you email me if this is something you might be interested in helping with? we can discuss or cost to do so as well. thanks a lot for your time. John

Richard, I’m not sure where your interests lie, but I am looking for a talented mathematician with whom I can collaborate on the general subject(s) of mathematics and physics with a special interest in the theories of relativity, quantum theory, and the unication thereof in some unified theory.

Let me know if you are at all interested.
